The Lough Boora Discovery Park 10K takes place on Friday 6th March at7.30pm, promoted by Mid Ireland Advertune.
Thank you for registering for Race 2 of the Offaly 10km Night Run Series at Lough Boora Discovery Park on Friday, 6 March 2026. We’re delighted to welcome you and look forward to an unforgettable night on the trails.
Important Race Information
Your safety is our top priority. Please take a few moments to review the key details below.
Reflective clothing (e.g., high-visibility vest) to be worn over your running gear
Dress warmly — the forecast indicates a cold evening (hat and gloves recommended)
Trail running shoes are advised for improved grip underfoot
Please affix your race number to your chest and ensure it is visible.
The start and finish lines are located within the grounds of Lough Boora Discovery Park.
Ample parking is available. Please arrive early and follow the directions of the parking marshals.
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM sharp
Location: Lough Boora Bike Shed
Please collect your race number from the registration team during this time.
7:30 PM sharp – Mass start
If you are not aiming for a competitive finish time, please allow faster runners to line up at the front.
The 10km route will be clearly marked with large LED flashing beacons.
A mobile floodlight tower and water station will be positioned along the course.
Race marshals will be stationed throughout the route — please notify them immediately if you encounter any difficulties.
Offaly Civil Defence will be on-site at the Start/Finish gantry and mobile lighting tower.
Please give way to any emergency vehicles if lights are flashing.

Post-Race Refreshments & Results
